Default Do as I say, NOT as I do....

Seems like some people have more rights to Personal Defense Weapons than others....

    Found the RFP here:

(I actually like the term "Personal Defense Weapon." Has nice ring to it! Thanks DHS!!!!)

Good article. It is funny though how some think it's a good weapon for defense for them but not us. They say it's an Assault Weapon when we own it.

It would be cool to see gun manufacturers with government contracts only manufacture guns if for military use. Any other government entity like the FBI, ATF, DHS, etc that thinks they need "assault weapons" can go to their LGS and wait in line like the rest of us. If we don't have access (or have limited access) to them, why should they?

Girlscouts? Hmmm, I don't know... I think it's kinda dangerous to teach young girls self esteem and leadership skills.

According to Steve McGough ofRadioViceOnline.com, DHS said the "select-fire" weapons are “suitable for personal defense use in close quarters.” The weapons sought by the DHS would be capable of semi-automatic and automatic fire and would be equipped with high-capacity 30-round magazines, the same type some want to see banned for use by civilians.

So where can I buy these new production select fire pdw's that are currently available to the public?

If they can have them, I can have them. That's where the conversation needs to go.

And AFAIK, a PDW is a small caliber SBR. So not only are they buying select fire rifles we can't buy, but they are getting them with barrels that cost us an extra $200 "tax"...
