I have no proper wording for how much this scares and pisses me off.

To use this man's logic, then, we should repeal all "old" laws, legislation, etc. that he doesn't like! So, if we remove the Constitution and it's supporting documents, does he have a right to be on national TV spewing this garbage?

It's an example of the logical end of pragmatism. To be clear, this kind of logic is present in many facets of daily life, politics, gubment and society today, and it's a very slippery slope...

Early on he says it doesn't matter if BHO was born in the US, even though it's in the constitution... Then at the end he says "we would not allow the French or the UK to rule us" No kidding. That's why the constitution says a pres must be born in the US! We don't want to be controlled by foreign countries. There is no use. These people can't even go 3 min without contradicting themselves.

Go for it. Toss it out on its ear. We will very rapidly cease to be the United States. Alaska and Hawaii would pretty quickly say fuck you and self govern. Texas, Montana, Wyoming, Utah, pretty sure they would part ways with the new America. Without the Constitution binding them to the Union they'd bail and continue to be fairly self sufficient. The military would be a giant clusterfuck, and general laws, provisions, and expectations would change drastically.

If they go that route, the country many of you fought for, our ancestors, friends, and family fought and died for is simply gone. What remains will be carved up like a Christmas turkey as power struggles develop and a fight for resources goes critical mass.

I saw it this morning and about lost it. This guy claims to be a professor of constitution and talks like this?

I know when I remodel a home I always tear up the foundation first. You don't like the constitution? Fine 2/3 of the House, 2/3 of the Senate, and 3/4 of the states and you can make changes. Until you have those then shut the fuck up.

Yep. It would result in the definition of SHTF. Why does it seem the left is set on causing social distress and eventual unrest? I just don't get it?!?!

I believe the far left has an agenda of stirring the pot as much as possible right now, with the goal of raising tensions throughout our culture. On one hand, they empower others on the loony left to speak up with even more outrageous crap (like the recent leftist who said last week more of less "what if abortion is murder"?). On the other hand, they anger and cause fear among those who disagree with them. Some will be intimidated to just be quiet and hope it goes away. Some will be inspired to legal activism. Some (they hope) will be inspired to illegal activism, which the state can brutally put down and perhaps overreach along the way. I do believe there is a strong effort by some to permanently give the left tyrannical power over the rest of the country. I have no idea where it leads ultimately, but fear for the worst...

So I think we need to call them out on it, repeatedly, and loudly and make a mockery of their BS. The trouble is the media as a whole, won't do it anymore. They used to keep elected officials accountable, and now they're nearly all cohorts.

I don't think it is as radical of an idea as you guys make it out to be.
