    Default The New Yorker

So, for everybody including myself who thought Mossberg lost their collective minds:

I give you the New Yorker "6 + 1 rounds of tacticool goodness!"

See, they really did know what they were doing!

I always thought, except for the stock it's pretty cool.

Like it or not, Try locating one in stock for purchase. Almost Any Lever gun and revolver are non-existent availability wise ON-Line. You know that place where anyone can go to buy a gun, through the gun show loop hole in my head

so the panic has assimilated all semi-auto pistols & long guns and is now working on revolvers/levers/pump action? We should see a run on muzzle loaders in another month at this rate.

You know...it is always easy to make black powder and cast lead balls. I plan to get a couple Walker replicas at some point as well as an in-line modern rifle alone with a percussion cap 50.

Unfortunately is has gotten to that point in time. When you walk in to your favorite reloading shop and the only thing, like LGS on the shelves are consignment guns AND NO components OOPS.
I've been researching muzzle loading and outside of powder storage find it has potential for a new hobby. You can cast rounds w/out having them to a specific hardness AND IF AN EMERGENCY HAPPENED Nails, bb's or what ever i could ram down the muzzle would work.
