Default NY won't have enough prisons if this is true...

Not sure on the accuracy of the original site (SHTFPlan.com) I saw this on, but according to several "news" sources now, it appears that gun owners across NY are refusing to register their guns! Good for them. The question is, will they really stick it out and too many will refuse that the state will have to drop it or start building more prisons... or worse? Or will they fold after the first dozen or so arrests? I hope they tough it out and lead by example! I think this is where it will begin to start getting either really ugly or be a series of huge wins for the Second Amendment!
“I’ve heard from hundreds of people that they’re prepared to defy the law, and that number will be magnified by the thousands, by the tens of thousands, when the registration deadline comes,’’ said President Brian Olesen with American Shooters Supply, among the biggest gun dealers in the state, in an interview with the New York Post.Even government officials admit that forcing New Yorkers to register their guns will be a tough sell, and they are apparently aware that massive non-compliance will be the order of the day. “Many of these assault-rifle owners aren’t going to register; we realize that,’’ a source in the Cuomo administration told the Post, adding that officials expect “widespread violations” of the new statute.
Threats of imprisoning gun owners for up to a year and confiscating their weapons are already being issued by governor’s office, headed by a rabid anti-Second Amendment extremist who suggested before the bill passed that “confiscation” of all semi-automatic rifles was being considered. If tens or even hundreds of thousands of otherwise law-abiding citizens refuse to comply, however, analysts say New York would either have to start raising taxes and building a lot more prisons, or give up on the scheme that experts say will do nothing to reduce violence and that lawmakers say is aimed at eventual confiscation.
Activists involved in the state-wide boycott against the unconstitutional statute who spoke to the Post almost taunted authorities, saying gun owners would essentially dare authorities to “come and take it away.”

“They’re saying, ‘F— the governor! F— Cuomo! We’re not going to register our guns,’ and I think they’re serious. People are not going to do it. People are going to resist,” explained State Rifle and Pistol Association President Tom King, who also serves on the National Rifle Association board of directors. “They’re taking one of our guaranteed civil rights, and they’re taking it away.”

I honestly think this is the only way we really can fight against the rules. We can't go the route of violence we have to take the Passive approach and simply overwhelmed the system to the point where they can no longer effectively enforce the law.

should be interesting to see how it plays out. I hope no one is injured in anyway.

I wonder what the compliance rate was in CA when they had to register back in the 2000, or whenever it was?

They have already cast the first stone and it made a ripple. The curious thing will be if they cast the second stone what will come of that. Life is about to get really interesting.

It'll be like the movie-NY will be the prison..
It would be interesting to say the least to see how it plays out.
Theres a lot of illegal laws coming out of Albany and sooner or later it's gonna bite them in the ass.

Cuomo needs to be removed for psycyatric reasons cause he's acting compleatly insane.
A ll it's gonna tale to get the ball rolling is a line of lawyers slapping him with lawsuits for the double jepordy laws he's enacting..

If it happens, it will begin in New York. The NYPD and NYSP have gotten so accustomed to Gestapo tactics over the past three decades it is SOP for them now . . . and they have the full support of Cuomo, Bloomberg, and the Courts . . . it is like their private army up there. Nothing at all like the DPD or LAPD . . . those departments have oversight, investigation, and media coverage when a policeman is accused of wrongdoing. In New York the police are free to do whatever they want, with very few restrictions, and their testimony is rarely questioned. New York has been a literal "police state" for a long time . . . but I think a lot of NYSP troopers may resign when ordered to kick down doors of citizens known to possess assault rifles who are refusing to turn them in . . . after all, that is somewhat risky.
