There are a lot of groups out there to join

There are other groups that seem good to belong to, but joining all can get kind of pricy. Help me undertsand the groups below, the ones I missed and why they are good to belong to. I would like to understand why one would be better than the other
- There is the Rocky Mountain Gun Owners http://www.rmgo.org/
- Colorado State Shooting association http://www.cssa.org/news.php
- Civillian Markmanship Program http://www.odcmp.com/
- Firearms Policy Org http://www.firearmspolicy.org/
- Gun Owners of America http://www.gunowners.org/
- National Association for Gun Rights http://www.nationalgunrights.org/
All are probably good groups. Being new to the groups and NRA and owning a 9mm and AR-15, wanting to know which are the best to follow. Any I am missing that are worth looking into?
Course then there are the Clubs (Looking at Centennial Gun Club) and ranges memberships etc.
