Do I own an ac41 flare gun? Help me identify.
Stumbling through some boxes in the shed while reorganizing I found an old flare gun. Can't remember where I picked it up. But i started to look around on the Internet and found that it might be an ac41 ww2 era flare gun. I think I'm going to sell it but I need 100% identify what I have and how much it's worth. So your knowledge and insight would be great. Thanks in advance.
That's pretty cool. Let me know what you want for it once you figure out what it is and what it's worth.
That's exactly what it is, made by Walther with the 359 WaAmpts. I saw a mint one not that long ago on Wehrmacht Awards go for $250. I might be interested as well. For further reference, they are often listed for sale on Gunbroker.

I'll take a chance and say I've probably seen more of these than Alex, and he's a pal. There's not much more to say. It is a Feb '41 production pistol. It is made mostly of aluminum (frame and barrel), grips are bakelite. Many were used by the Luftwaffe, because weight was always a huge consideration in the air. It appears to be a 90% condition item.
