Recovering New Mexican

I am Curtis (Walter is a forum name I use.)
New member, originally from New Mexico. Moved to Colorado in 1992 after 5 years in the Army. Satellite Systems Operator.
Just got my first AR the day after the last election. My awesome wife went out and got me a base model Stag Arms.
We had one handgun (IWI Baby Eagle 9) in the house for years and some long guns stored in my father-in-law's safe. When Obamacare passed my wife felt it would bankrupt the country and that crime would skyrocket. So we started looking for a gun for her and took a concealed carry class. She finally decided on a Glock 34. I alternate between the Baby Eagle and an XD45. Now we have a couple of carry/household guns each and twice as many long guns.
Found the site from the Colorado Concealed Carry site which I found on the XDTalk forum.
Mainly joined to post responses to emails sent to our Representatives over the current gun bans. I would have posted on CCW.co but not much activity over there yet. Posted them on XDTalk but not sure how many Coloradans are on there. I am sure the responses are form letters so I will try to make sure they are not posted yet.
