    Nice primer on reloading. If you really want to look at cost savings when it comes to reloading, try pricing off-the-shelf premium hunting rounds ($2-$5 a piece, ex: weatherby ammo). You can easily recoup your equipment purchase, since you can reload each round for about 1/4 of the price.

    You see they case feed conversion some guys have done, to load 223 on a 550?

    The 550 casefeeder is one of the very few Dillon products that I do not recommend. Problematic at best.

    If you want a casefeeder and more speed, get the 650 or 1050.
