For some reason my OP is acting up. It looks like this really wasn't planned out, and I bet it was probably with a plane Jane handgun. However, I'm betting the media will find someone way to spin the gun as an "assault weapon" or "Saturday night special".

He'll have an assault shotgun modified to take hi-cap clips, and he walked in with an assault rifle, which they instantly knew it was, because it wasn't pink with flowers and it went bang. They'll say he sprayed bullets like a paint sprayer, and find an ar-15 in his dead hands and 500round drum mags

Three people were shot and wounded Wednesday, one of them with life-threatening injuries, when a gunman opened fire at a Phoenix office complex, authorities said.

One of the three victims sustained "extremely critical" injuries, while the two others were less severely wounded, police said, correcting their earlier report that all three had been critically injured.

Two or three other people were taken to hospitals for "stress-related" conditions after the incident at a complex near 16th Street and Glendale Avenue, authorities said.

Phoenix police Sgt. Tommy Thompson said the gunman was not in custody and that authorities were seeking an "older white male." Police said shell casings at the scene indicated that at least two weapons were used.

For all liberal media intents and purposes anything involving a firearm shall now be dubbed a "mass shooting."
I will don a little piece of tin foil here- if this had been a gang related or "routine" Chicago shooting, nothing would have been mentioned, even if 10 people were killed... however, since it's in AZ, and Mrs. Giffords just happened to be speaking at the Congressional Committee today, this is the perfect opportunity to spin it so that it makes guns look evil, once again... We just need to arm and train every law-abiding citizen already!

I believe the FBI's definition of a mass shooting is 3 or more people injured.
