    Dave Kopel will be there.. We should be very well represented.
    What is my joy if all hands, even the unclean, can reach into it? What is my wisdom, if even the fools can dictate to me? What is my freedom, if all creatures, even the botched and impotent, are my masters? What is my life, if I am but to bow, to agree and to obey?

    $10 for a possible chance to get told to shut up by Hick? Maybe... If I go I'm recording that stuff!

    Where does the money from the tickets go?

    ...and why is this conversation falling under the scope of counter-terrorism?

    This raises my hackles in their CAP FAQ;
    Can citizens really play a critical role in preventing terrorism?

    Yes! The U.S. Department of Homeland Security has recognized the importance of citizen engagement – as Secretary Janet Napolitano once said, “Homeland security begins with hometown security”. Enhancing our disaster preparedness and public safety is a shared responsibility, and the CAP plays a crucial role in providing citizens with the information they need to play their part.

    There are a few Pro gun politicians and public servants going to be there.

    My odd questions is why it is hosted by THE CELL (Counter terrorims learing lab)???? Look who the big sponsors of THE CELL are.............

    "If you see something, say something." & "Knowing the 8 signs of terrorism"

    "The rifle itself has no moral stature, since it has no will of its own. Naturally, it may be used by evil men for evil purposes, but there are more good men than evil, and while the latter cannot be persuaded to the path of righteousness by propaganda, they can certainly be corrected by good men with rifles. --Jeff Cooper"

    How does the CELL define terrorism?

    There is no definition of terrorism that has worldwide acceptance. A universal definition is met with controversy and resistance for various political, social and cultural reasons. The CELL, however, believes it is important to define what terrorism is in order to develop effective strategies to prevent it.

    The CELL has thus adopted the following definition:

    Terrorism is the pre-meditated use of violence or the threat of violence targeting civilians or their property for political, religious or ideological gain. It is a tactic used to create an environment of fear, chaos and intimidation in order to further the terrorists’ objectives.

    So...the government trying to infringe on my rights as the 2nd Amendment directs them not to is terrorism. I think I'm starting to understand...

    Because protesting the government is low-level terrorism.
