    i know a guy that shot his finger off holstering a 1911. why would you think it was a glock?

    I have no clue as to what type of weapon, but have run accross the term "Glock Leg."

    “Glock leg.” The phenomenon of supposedly well trained officers shooting their own leg with their Glock.

    All it takes is for part of the holster or your shirt or something to get into the trigger guard when you're pushing the pistol into the holster...bang! It could be as simple as the thumb snap strap to catch it on the way in. Many Glock holsters were recalled for this.

    You could do it with a 1911, but you'd have to have the thumb safety off and have a good grip on the grip safety while catching the trigger. It takes a little more effort to screw up.
