    Honestly I was a bit surprised they came out with this. I thought they generally lean lib-correct me if I'm wrong?!

    Not really. Just that people in the GOP tend to say some amazingly stupid stuff, which happens to be wrong.

    I expanded the years I looked at, finding that for the last five years, rifle homicides in the US, even with the addition of 2 million or so ARs and countless millions of 30rd magazines, were lower than every single year that the AWB was in place. Rifle homicides averaged over 100 per year higher during the AWB than after it was repealed. The numbers suggest that more ARs = less homicides.

    FactCheck has a somewhat liberal slant on things but they're nowhere near as bad as PolitiFact which is nearly an arm of the DNC.
