    Default My company suckS!!!

Through an HR mix up on their part they have denied me benifits for another 8 months. I wrote an appeal, my boss wrote an appeal taking responsibility for the screw up and his boss wrote an appeal and it still got denied. Suffice it to say I will be looking again!!! I hate changing jobs.

Thanks, I have had several people recruiting me already and was putting off interviewing, but I sent my boss an email tonight telling him he needs to start looking for a new rep since as soon as I have something else I will be giving notice. As I am the ONLY rep in Colorado and we are in a hiring freeze he is pretty well screwed. I did it more to light a fire than to make a threat, but the company will see a dramatic drop in revenue with out a good salesman pounding the pavement every day. I am more bummed about not being able to cover my daughter because my wife's benefits are cost prohibitive.

HR is leading to the death of america

If all of HR disappeared tomorrow, besides the increased productivity, would anyone notice?
Of course not, meaning they should all go

remember HR is NOT on your side.

Of course. That way they save that money until next year. I have an interview at Thunder Mountain HD today and another one in Denver for a sales consulting place for motorcycle dealers Tuesday.

Yeah. I missed a deadline that I was unaware of. My boss sent a letter explaining it was his fault but they didn't allow me to sign up. Now I can't sign up until November and they don't take effect until January.

TMHD is commission only and come another 3-4 weeks tops they wil have approx 8-12 sales people on the floor. cutthroat as it is perhaps you might consider another place for employment. plus all sales go through the sales mgr. after their taste you don't get much.
    good luck...............

So, my interview today with Assurant was the strangest I have ever had. The HR lady was all over the place and totally fragmented in her questions. She actually got mad at me at one point accusing me of confusing her. I spoke more slowly after that and even asked her several questions to make sure she understood. (English is not her first language apparently) At the end of the interview she said I did great and she would let me know Friday if I move on to the next stage. I hope she is not an accurate picture of the company as a whole or I may pass on this one.
