An Encouraging Trend

Our CCW classes have historically averaged about 30% women. Over the last 3-4 months the average is up to at least 50%.

Due to time and space constraints and the amount of information we cover we try to limit classes to 10 people...but demand is very high these days. Today were we're conducting a class with 12 people and 8 are women...67%. Next week 6 of 11 are ladies. 2 of them are students of our Basic Handgun Safety class.

That's fantastic! Ladies, congratulations for empowering yourself with some basic self-defense skills and training.

I'd be interested to know if other instructors are experiencing the same trend.

It could just be that most of the male population already did their class.

Maybe this new trend explains why my brother is finally going to take the class. He's always been a bit of a ladies man!
