Default Difference between reloaded and remanufactured ammo

...what is it? Reman is made by a company and reloaded is made by an individual?

Price it cost you to buy / do it. Reman is sold by a lic / FFl reloader who hopefully has enough ins coverage in case someone has an issue with their reman ammo. Versus an individual who does it for personal sanctification, knowing they are not paying $3-400 over retail for ammo. AND able to get more consistent loads.

You had it right. Remanufactured ammo goes through the same, large scale process as factory ammo except with used brass.

The owner of the range I used to work at (one of three locations) also owned a company that produced remanufactured ammo. We'd send the brass off the range to get recycled and then sold it when it came back all ready to go. He even guaranteed the ammo just like the big guys if it directly damaged a gun. That guy was a genius.
