I just read the joint news release from Colorado House and Senate Democrats. The following information is from their very own release.

The propose:

-to fine citizens $5,000 and jail them for 18 months for selling a gun without the state's permission.

-to fine citizens $1,000 and jail for 1 year for possessing, selling or trading any magazine capable of holding 10 or more rounds of ammunition. (the only possible way to avoid being jailed under this proposal would be to register current ownership of these magazines with the state.)

Decide for yourself if you think these proposals are radical.
