The McDonalds down in Trinidad, CO serve a FREE deluxe breakfast for all Veterans and their spouses on Memorial day which ends at 9AM (if I remember correctly). The owner of this particular McDonalds is a retired Vet and has done this for years. Saw a lot of old timers from WW2, Korean conflict, Viet Nam and the more recent wars. People can be critical of fast food establishments but at least this one does give back something that is really appreciated by us Vets. Only requirement for this freebie is that we say "yes" when we walk in the door and are asked if we are a Vet.
