If this stuff would hold up, it would probably prevent barnacles.

If it did, the Navy would buy every ounce this company could produce. As it is they spend a fortune on bottom paint research.

As an example, if you coat a piece of metal, put it under the faucet for a little while, it works as advertised. After about 30 minutes, it has worn off the spot that water is being run on.

It also isn't clear, so you couldn't really put it on a windshield or something.

I sprayed a piece of wood and still have it, and that seems to be holding up fine, probably because it's so porous and the product can really grab on. I don't know how it stands up to sun, but you could spray your house or your roof with it and that would probably be good.

All in all, I think this stuff will have all sorts of uses for things that occasionally get wet, but in my experimentation it will not stand up to running water.

    Tthats what I thought

I was testing this product for a different purpose, but I was thinking "if this stuff works, and is durable, I'm moving to Florida and starting a company painting boat hulls." After testing, I don't think it's durable enough. It is still amazing and worth experimenting with.

The crossing from SE Florida to Bimini, or even Abaco is pretty close.....and now-banned (really good!) bottom paint comes back across OFTEN

I went ahead and bought some. I'm a mechanic and I'll put it on my work boots and gloves and see how long it lasts. I'll let you guys and gals know what happens!

Why is there separate bottles for Top and Bottom coats? Or is it a two-step process?
