There was an officer I worked with once years ago who was going through a very tough time; divorcing, losing his house, losing his access to his child, trouble at work, etc. and he also just lost it. He wrote something similar in nature (not to the extent of the violence or the political garbage), rambling in nature, "everyone's out to get him", type stuff. It was pretty bizarre to read, similar to this guy's rantings. He holed up in a hotel and was calling reporters to 'get his story out'. He was eventually fired and went through a medical eval and there was evidence of a mental lapse that required him to go on some pretty heavy anti-psychotics and anti-depressants. I've come across him recently and he seems to have rebounded well enough since leaving the LE field. It was bizarre at the time though.

Which is exactly why the police are doing door-to-door searches in the area. Although he could have easily stashed a 2nd vehicle near the burned out one and be in Mexico by now.

But this armchair quarterback doesn't think he's headed to Mexico. This bad guy was hunting his victims. It's not like he shot up those cops because they found him while he was trying to get away. He found them. He has a crazy ass bone to pick and I don't think he's going to stop until he's dead.
