The burly man with tattoos on his biceps repeatedly asked why he was not sent to reintegration training after his return from war and on one occasion, began weeping in the patrol car and demanded to be taken back to the police academy to be retrained, court documents show.
I just pulled this from one of the articles about him. The dude was deployed to Bahrain which is hardly a "war zone". Hell, you can take your families there and you can drink beer every night. He is hardly the victim of PTSD.

Watched The Running Man last weekend. It has taken a more serious tone because of the way our country has changed since the '80s. It wasn't as 'campy' as I had recalled it.

Very sad about the wrong vehicle being shot up- I guess the LAPD doesn't stress PID before discharging your firearm? Help me out here OneGuy and Kev: your departments stress to the max that you must be sure of your target before you pull the trigger, correct? I don't know any LAPD cops, but it would seem to me that I'd be more afraid of them than the crooks of LA. Like was said before- big time lawsuit coming for the Department and City of LA. They need to beat into the head of every cop in that city that you better be damn sure you are 100% justified before you pull the trigger (of course we don't want them to hesitate too much).

This dude was a Riverine with a Marksman qualifcation on the rifle. He is by no means a sniper like the media keeps saying and he isn't special ops. He's thinks his shit don't stink but there are no doubt men much more experienced than him hunting him right now.

This thread has been great for exposing the hypocrisy of a lot of people around here. Especially the ones who would have you believe from their signatures etc that they all have the "Don't tread on me" philosophy to life. Yet when another person reaches the point of pushing back they are the first to jump on the bandwagon to decry and lampoon him with nothing more that hearsay from the state run media. I hope you get the opportunity to walk a mile in shoes of the oppressed one day so that the world might get a chance to see how a hypocrite deals with being stood on.

Hypocrisy? Wow... in the words of Ronald Reagan- "There you go again." It's not pushing back when you threaten to murder people's families. It's not being oppressed when you choke out someone for calling you an ethnic slur. It's not being stood on when you make threats against an entire department just because YOU believe they're in on some big conspiracy.

Melvin, nothing that happened to him justified killing two civilians and a cop.
