    Default IAVA

Please avoid the non profit group Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America. They are only interested in liking their own pockets and they are truly pieces of shit. My buddy today told me this:

while I was in the vets lounge at school: This vet that works for the VA for the school just saw the IAVA guy hand her (the IAVA lady) the American express card for a cab and he was like, "whoa! American express." and she said, "we may be non profit, but we are living it up" and then the IAVA guy said "at least it looks like it."
Here is a breakdown of their past budget.

Of $3,792,228.00 in donations they gave $14,398 to veterans. That's a whole 0.38%

Agreed, IF they were earning those salaries by actually helping the veterans as they claim. Unfortunately, the financials show that this is a self serving organization that functions for the betterment of its directors and not those that they swore to serve. Sad indeed.

That is truly sickening. And that is just one of the ones that has been exposed. There are alot of non-profits like that, that claim "support" for vets and never really do anything for. What a joke

I got a thing in the mail from them last week asking for money- good thing I didn't send them squat! I'll just be asking that Rickenhoff guy to remove me from his mail/e-mail list.
