    Default Newb in Northglenn

    Just checking in guys, new to the sight and new to AR's. When I say new I mean less than a week with one. Learning curve is probably going to be a bit steep but nothing I can't handle. Normally shoot a Savage in 22-250 with a 1:8 McGowen straight barrel and assorted pistols.

    Went to Jensen to pick up a new pistol and ended up with a Sabre Defence Varmint instead. Hopefully I'll be able to pick up some new optincs sometime in the near future, swaping between the 22-250 and the AR got to be a bit of a pain. Also need to pick up a scope riser or some high rings in the mean time. But anyway here's a poor shot on her initial outing.

    Hey thanks for the welcome guys.

    Wallary,

    That's just on of the houses up at CCCS. Nothing out of the ordinary was the first day that barrel was fired so I wanted to make sure it was away from other shooters in case something happened like my head spacing wasn't correct. It was the first barrel swap I've ever done so I was being cautious.

    About ten years ago I took my ccw class at that range and sighted in my first AR after the class in that very shack. Now ten years later I have 5 AR's one of which is F/A.
