Thanks for the write up. While I agree with everything you said, I despise having to justify why I need "high capacity" magazines, an AR-15, should be able to do with my personal property as I see fit, etc. Not only is it my God given right to defend myself, my family, and others around me if the situation arises, but it is also my obligation to do so. Trying to take away or limit what tools I can use to ensure the safety of myself and my family is immoral. That's the bottom line. Every other reason, while legitimate, pales in comparison.

Unfortunately, not everybody agrees, and so I will take your advice and write letters.
