It's actually a laminate that just looks like granite. I glued the laminate on over 2 thicknesses of 3/4" particle board. It's pretty sturdy. I'm using off-the-rack kitchen cabinets from Home Depot as the base. The white shelving is 3 sections of bookcase from Ikea. One of these days I'll post a pic or two of my bench with all the details.

The bench is located in a second bedroom in my basement so I wanted it to look reasonably presentable in the event I ever have to use the bedroom for guests. The granite-looking laminate is an exact match for the actual granite countertop in my mini-kitchen area located in a different part of the basement. I just couldn't stomach the cost of real granite for my reloading bench!

Road tested some 9mm loads. Looks like this one will work.

Cleaned the last of my .223 brass. I have about 5gal of brass now that needs resizing and trimming.

But of course! If I were in a hurry, you'd be the first one I called. This time, I'm trying to save as much $$$ as possible by doing it myself. If I ever get serious about a .300blk, I might be calling you up.

I ended up depriming and wet tumbling about 1100 9mm and 700 .40 S&W cases today. I, too, have about 5 gallons worth of .223 waiting for me, Mr. Badger. I'm lucky in that I already have about 5000 pieces of .223 completely prepped and ready to load so the other stuff doesn't have to be top priority right now.

Puppy woke me up at 4:30 this morning, so I loaded up 50 rounds of .357 mag and I'm off to work slingin' cribs.
