Crawled out from under my rock.
MY FEEDBACK
Cleaned about 600 .223 pieces of brass, swaged 150 cases...

2 coats of mud..
What is my joy if all hands, even the unclean, can reach into it? What is my wisdom, if even the fools can dictate to me? What is my freedom, if all creatures, even the botched and impotent, are my masters? What is my life, if I am but to bow, to agree and to obey?

Congratulations!
Brass prep...always brass prep. I almost don't even hear the tumbler anymore. It seems like the thing is always running in the background. Sized more .223 after all of it got swaged. I really like the Dillon Super Swager. It is the next best thing to a 1050, IMO. Sized more .40 S&W and there is plenty more to be sized. I need powder and primers. I always need more powder and primers.
Sized .40 s&w? Are you doing it for fun or do you actually have cases that need to be resized? Or do you just do it to all of them to keep them a uniform length?
eta: Because I thought pistol brass rarely, if ever, needs to be trimmed.
2nd eta: I've measured the 1.5k pistol brass that I have and none of it was closer than 0.010" to the max length. They've all been fired 3 times now and that was after resizing. Hmm, might have to check again though

Wow, I totally misread your post. I imagined that you were TRIMMING the 40s&w brass, not sizing it.
What's your reasoning for decapping/priming off the press? Don't want your press getting dirty or do you have a progressive/turret/whateverhtehellthey'recalled press where all stages are done on one press?
I've got a single stage and do everything on the press and simply vacuum up particles of carbon and crushed walnut when it gets obviously dirty. I have a feeling I'll eventually need to apply some lube of some sort to the ram, but living in the desert with next to zero percent humidity, the chance of rust on the ram is quite low.
Bagged n tagged a shit load of brass for a garage sale i'm doing in the am.

I try to find ways to be productive away from a press. I have a single stage and a Lee Pro 1000. I use a Harvey Deprimer and an RCBS universal hand primer. When I actually sit down at the press, I just want to churn out finished rounds, which is pretty easy when you are feeding clean, sized, primed, cases.
