FINALLY got the RT1200 trimmer dialed in. then cranked out 2500 pcs of misc 223 brass. 30 min on, 40 min off then repeat. Think the spouse is right, next time use earplugs.

Used a hand tool to uniform/ream 100 .223 cases, then primed them. Sigh, long and tedious work.

    Um, no.

They are destined for AR500 steel at 1500-1900yds, perhaps more depending on how I do. That's the plan at least.

Unfortunately the reason for my trip to ND negates the use of such tools. Instead I get to hang out at old AT&T towers, work on a laptop, and install stuff on Lufkin Pump Off Controllers. The rules of the oilfield mean no firearms.

    ETA:

Weird comment, hanging out around a 200,000 gallon diesel tank, and a pair of Kenworth generators that create 4000 amps of 12VDC in a 1960-70 "nuke resistant" building is kinda fun. All part of the microwave network that used to be the secure network for DOD silos and Airforce One's direct line to the White House before satellite.

Did this to another 250 rounds, only have about 1k to go. Starting to salivate over the RCBS case prep center.

Then again, after I finish this 1.5k, I probably wont have to process my rifle brass again until I get started into the long game (and that will be longer than expected, decided I'm going to finish my stripped lower SPR project first - at least get it to be shootable with iron sights - currently missing basically the entire upper).
