I have been playing with the Berger 230s in the 300 Whisper/BLK for a while now and might have finally settled on a load.

Pointed and HbN coated Berger Hybrid 230 HPBT
Lapua 300 BLK Brass
Federal Primer
Vhit N-110, 9.4 gns
Loaded OAL 2.393, my comparator length of 1.695

I played with seating depth a lot to try and tighten up accuracy and the ES/SD. Everything from twenty thou jammed to twenty off the lands in .005 increments.

Center to center was well under 3/4 inch with vertical spread being about 0.6 inches at 100 yards. That's a 3/4 black paster.
Average velocity of 1077 with a high of 1085 and a low of 1074.

Rifle

Bighorn TL-3 Action
Bartlien 1-8, 16.1 inches
300 Hush reamer, made by PTG in 2008
Accuracy International AX Chassis
Schmidt & Bender 5-25
Thunderbeast 338 Ultra

I am sure I could get it quieter if I switched powders, but my accuracy is excellent and the ES/SD is so low with N-110, I am tempted to just stop experimenting and go with it. The running of the bolt makes as much noise as the gun going off. 25 yards away you cant even tell it went off.

Here is the video of it. Shooting at a 6x6 plate at 300 yards. Camera set up almost like a sound meter would be for a no-shit test.
