    200 rounds of 45 ACP to use up the last of my 230 gr BBIs. Next batch will put me into my 2k Bayous.

    I'd be curious to hear how you like the Bayous...

    I did a few hundred of .45 with 185gr JHP, 357mag and some more .38spl. The 125gr Xtreme plated FP are just excellent in both .38 & 357mag!! I've been very surprised by these plated bullets.

    I loaded up a sample pack of about 30 that i got from a friend a month or so ago and ran them through some testing. They worked fine so i ordered up a case. Actually talked to Jerry M himself when i ordered them. I'm just a little OCD, so i HAVE to load up the BBIs that i had already opened BEFORE i can start throwing the Bayous. Pretty standard load - 230gr RN over 3.7 gr Clays loaded to 1.25. They seem to run exactly the same as any coated/plain LRN bullet. Bayou has great CS and decent prices as well.
