Having the 550 on the same work bench that I'm constantly hammering on and doing other work is a real problem. Everything was loose and I was having all kinds of problems. Eventually I find everything that was out of spec and fixed it. Not loading but once a year is tough as well because you forget everything.
Were those the old flat point bullets? I saw the flat point bullets and shook my head as to why they would go with them when there is a lot of better options for cast bullets.

I bought a couple cases of the Gallant 217s and they are really good. They even have a slight boat tail to make seating easier and also so you dont shave off the coating when seating.
