What did you do in the reloading room today?

Loaded 19 rounds of .308 Winchester. I put a 168 gr. polymer tipped bullet over 41.7 grs of Varget. Approaching maximum load. I don't know how much more want to squeeze out of this load. Although the faster I go, the tighter the groups get, I think about the best this rifle can do is 1 1/2-2 moa.

41gr seems light. I load 44.5gr varget under a 168gr smk or nosler cc and get sub moa groops no pressure signs at all. Just a quick look and my manual says 46gr of varget is max load for 168gr bullets. Not sure of your exact situation but I would say you have some room to refine that load some more.

I would second this, not sure where the data came from or if you are tying to load 7.62 specs for M1 or others.
