He is 12. Has been going up with me every year for the last 5 years. Hoping he has some beginners luck this year!

I decided to finally get around to annealing my .17 Fireball brass. I can't recall when I shot it all but there were around 400 rounds total. I have another 300 loaded and 400 fresh brass. I guess I will never run out.

I turned a bunch (~2,500 pcs) of small flash hole Norma 9mm brass into regular sized flash hole brass. Now it wont break decapping pins.

This past couple weeks I processed a ton of 9 and 223 brass.

Roll sized two buckets of 223.

Roll sized and fully processed (deprime, swage primer crimp, bump shoulder back and trim to min length) two more buckets of 223. About 3,500 pcs of 223 in a 5 gallon bucket.

Roll sized and fully processed (deprime, swage primer crimp, FL resize) three buckets of 9mm brass. About 9,000 pcs of 9mm in a 5 gallon bucket.

Loading pistol ammo that has already been fully processed is so nice compared to just tumbled clean brass.

Curious as to how you do this in bulk since you always have the cool toys for things. Or do you just use a flash hole uniformer and handle each case by itself?

The FW Arms decapper just blows right through the small flash hole swaging it to a normal size. I have to adjust the torque settings up a bit so my autodrive doesent shut off.

Have been looking at that decapper when processing large amounts myself. Knowing it will also smash thru the flash hole is a huge plus.

So, it can "fix" Berdan cases?

YOU are the first responder. Police, fire and medical are SECOND responders.
When seconds count, the police are mere minutes away...

They do punch through, but I just toss that junk in the scrap heap.

FW Arms makes two sized pins. Large and small. The small fits fine in Norma brass and the large swages them up to normal spec.

However the small pin will sometime puncture the primer if the brass is tightly crimped in place.
