    Well said! Exactly what I was thinking... A good cop would have asked the guy to calm down, try to defuse the situation; was there a need for force? So the kid got lippy and took a "threatening posture," I'm sure cops experience that all the time and don't need to make physical contact every single time. I can sympathize with the LEO's position, they deal in bad situations all day, but physical contact is not the best option for this instance without escalation. He wasn't "losing control" of the situation from what I saw, so there was no need to strike the kid and pin him down to "maintain" said control...

    Agreed. He didn't step to the cops, the cops stepped to him. He wasn't threatening, although the U.S. Soldier respect me comment was total douche.... Reservist combat engineering was it? WTF.. respect me.. I move equipment. Big cop/Marine taking a shot at a "soldier" cause he can? IDK... that seemed a little rediculous.
