what? other than it would be idiotic to be out in that weather, getting arrested for it seems a bit extreme

The pussification of the American political class knows no bounds. A named snow storm system? really? really?
That's NOAA's doing, not the politicians. They want to be more relevant, and by naming every storm system instead of just hurricanes/tropical storms, they get it done.
