I got my certification!
Well, I took the gun class today- four hours of classroom training, and four hours range time. I got my certificate! Next step: CHP.
I am also sore as hell.Shotguns kick like an angry mule.

Hell ya I go to the range tomorrow for the second half of mine. I wish I would have gone with the guys on the board who hold classes though
Grats on the class, now the long wait for the CHP to be processed. On a side note, my first time with a shotgun was when a buddy of mine handed me his grandfather's breach action 10 gauge from the 1920's with a metal butt plate and a 3 1/2" mag #2 tungsten shot loaded and said "here, try this."
Congrats! Douglas County Sheriff's office does a good job with the CHP.
Congrats! Is you CCW of choice a shotgun? Or just making it a full day at the range?
