Not his fault. FDGD is probably one thing that deters people from moving up here. Feb. is cold and WINDY.

Colorado is at a crossroads. Either there is going to be backlash from the right that will sweep these leftist idiots out of office in the next election cycle or two OR the stranglehold the left holds on this state will strengthen taking it down the road to California (or worse).

I don't think its time to jump ship now but if we don't start winning soon, then it will be.

Im a native and not ready to jump ship. That being said I will boycott hunting and fishing this year. Instead I plan to take vacation out of state(somewhere more gun friendly).

This ordeal is very depressing. To watch our home state transform from red to blue is horrible. We are natives also and love the state. We HATE the political transformation. I really don't think we can reverse the trend, unless the Dems run it into the ground. Even then, I doubt it will reverse. Californians keep voting the same way. Once a certain percentage of the voters receive entitlement crap, they aren't going to give it back. That's by design too. The progressives are extremely strategic and patient. They know what they're doing. In short, we are screwed.

Our roots are deep here. The thought of leaving makes me sick. I want to fight the progressives and kick their butts out of Colorado. The book Molon Labe illustrates how to save a state from progressive destruction.

Gentlemen it was nice to see some fellow natives on the thread. Personally I am not advocating violence but hitting the people in charge in a legal and civil way. One post said that hitting the tourism industry would have little impact. Quite the opposite the 2nd largest industry in Colorado is tourism http://www.denver.org/tourismpays/tourism-in-colorado

Tourism is down 30 percent since Obama became president and it is still our 2nd largest industry. Much of our tourism is outdoor related and many gun rights people come here for them. Knock off another 10 percent of that revenue and the machine starts to break, its barely moving now. Get an organized national effort to boycott Colorado and it will get the States attention. If you social media get the buzz started. The war has just started folks. Pot don't have the financial impact that we do take down the machine. Damm I feel like saying Wolverines.

Well, I'm not a CO native, I'm an Okie. But what other state(s) are better than here? Yeah, the lefties are fucking this place up, but they're doing it everywhere else too. No matter where you move to, by the time you get settled in it'll be time to leave there as well. And the natives of THAT state will look upon YOU as an outsider/invader.

Yeah, the situation is starting to suck here, but it sucks a lot worse in a lot of other places.

That's why we got to fight for it. We got to do our part to stop the liberals.

Texas here and I have not intention of every going back.

Personally, I don't give a rat fawk what your politics are. As long as they are not being forced on me. Right now someone else's "feel good" politics is being shoved down my throat. I don't want to wait for the backlash of the next election cycle to undue the damage being done now, if it will be undone. Obviously, our voice is not being considered.

Time to start looking on Realtor.com for some place back home in Montana. "California East" doesn't want me anymore. Fine with me.
