CBI Background Checks Clearing RAPIDLY

This was debated yesterday in the hearing. The way the bill is written the FFLs can only charge $10.00. There is nothing in the bill that allows an FFL to refuse to do the transfer or charge more than $10.00. If a NICS fee/tax is imposed that would be above the $10.00 listed in the Bill.

I was thinking the $10 would be a fee to CBI and then they would charge there transfer fee on top of this. I can't see many FFL's agreeing to do $10 transfers. I think most would stick to new gun purchases only and avoid person to person transfers.
