Recall of Public Officials/Legislators Thread

Districts I am in are well represented, so no recall needed here, but I'm game to help out where I can if you guys decide to target a district or two.

Fundraising would come in for the actual recall election, funds for the petition should be very minor (maybe pay for someones gas or lunch, maybe some printing costs...).

Below, I put five Senators that will be vulnerable to gun legislation votes....put a lot of heat on them especially if you are in their district. If they don't listen, recall them.

This was a republican district and should be targeted (you guys up north contact him a lot)

I also get personal responses from Chris and at least a real live aide that responds for Harvey.

It won't be possible to recall them all and if spread too thin we won't be able to recall any. Just like with vampires, go for the leader (chop off the head, whatever) and the rest will get the message. Go for that John whatever guy, do it loud and public and even if it's not sucessful, getting close will send a message. You don't hear much from that moron Walker in Wisconsin since he almost got ousted.

I'm putting this here so people will be more likely to see it. I saw a Recall effort is being proposed by another member. I think we need to remind them that we will recall them if they vote for these proposed bills.

Put "RECALL" IN THE SUBJECT LINE OF YOUR EMAIL... Something like "RECALL EFFORT UNDERWAY IF YOU VOTE FOR GUN CONTROL"

We need to stop this before we are forced to recall.

I'm all for writing everybody, and for informing them you'll have a personal and financial stake in defeating them next election if they don't vote pro-2A. But I thinkthe threat of a recall is probably going to be unlikely to persuade - it's long odds, and they know it. Otherwise, they would have listened to the majority of opposition that voiced itself in the committee hearings.

Well, maybe if they start getting a couple of hundred emails a day with "RECALL" in the subject line they might think twice....
