Hi Brian,
You aren't in my district, but you asked a question, so I am answering you -- I am voting yes.

It's so easy to tell which one of our Representatives are the good guys by their email replies. The bad guys don't give awhat we think.

Hahaha, I just noticed the email address Rep. Holbert's response came from. <repholbert+canned.response@gmail.com>Thank you for your email and your concern for the Second Amendment.
As a member of the House Committee on Education, I've already voted
"No" on one of the bills. The slate of bills is now scheduled to be
heard on the House floor on Friday, February 15 beginning at 9:00 a.m.
I will vote "No" on all so-called "gun control" legislation.
The Second Amendment exists as our defense against tyranny. I will not
negotiate with your Rights under the Constitution, which means that I
will not compromise on the Second Amendment.
Please, if you are able, come to the Colorado Capitol Friday morning.
Sit in the House gallery and hear for yourself what supporters of such
misguided legislation have to say.
If you have Comcast cable service in the Denver area, then you can
also watch us on channel 165. You can also watch or listen to
proceedings on the House Chambers online at:

It is an honor and privilege to serve in the Colorado House of Representatives.

Thank you for contacting me about gun issues. We are considering various options and I appreciate your input.

Cherylin Peniston's reply was basically "I support closing the private gun sales loophole and I haven't made up my mind about anything else." Or words to that effect.
Westminster peeps need to lean on her. Although her district is mostly (all?) Adams County, so it may be a safe Dem seat anyway.
Or not. In 1994 everybody thought Dan Rostenkowski (D-IL, inside the city of Chicago itself) was safe as well and we managed to throw him out of office.
Anyway, if this bullshit comes to a vote and Peniston votes for either 1224 or 1229, I've got the maximum legal donation ($200?) for anybody who runs against her. Ditto my state senator, Steadman.
I called the Colorado GOP today and talked with a gal and she took my info. Said she needed to decide who to give it to to help me. Just stated that I wanted to avoid pitfalls of inexperience, etc. Haven't heard back. At this point I plan on being at the capital for the vote tomorrow. Parking was hell Tuesday.

Nicholson sent me a form letter, she's obviously unable to listen to reason so I sent this to try and inspire a little fear that her job is at stake:
Senator Nicholson,
In light of your response- albeit a form letter- you have proven yourself incapable of actually listening to the mass amount of people in this state, including industry leading, Colorado based company Magpul Industries, regarding this proposed legislation. I am left with little option but to recommend your name be added to a list of other Colorado representatives in a request for recall that a large firearms community I belong to has been setting up. You clearly have no interest in respecting our rights to own and possess arms as outlined by the second amendment to the US Constitution as well as outlined in the Colorado Constitution.
Thank you for your time,

Iem'm in a "good" district so unable to file or sign any recall petitions but will assist with time, money and efforts. We need to throw the fear of .... I guess Gaia since most of these pinko swine are Godless ... in them
