    Guns = Power
    In the wrong hands, great tragedies are committed.

    Political Office = Power
    In the wrong hands, great tragedies are committed.

    Great tragedies, like a wrong-minded person, attacking our rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. When a person decides to willfully attack us, we have the choice to fight back or give up and accept our role as a victim. Both perpetrators of these heinous acts are committing them with full knowledge of the consequences and results of their actions. The shooter in a school theater, mall or church knows full well the act they are committing is unlawful, yet they don't care about the public's opinion of them or their act. The politician that sponsors or votes for an unconstitutional bill is also aware of the lawful violation they are committing, but they do care about public opinion.

    Some politicians believe that it is their right to enact laws that are meant to protect the people from themselves. These politicians feel it is their right. However, it is merely a privilege, granted by the people, to serve the will of the people. What is a right, is the inalienable one granted to us by the 2nd Amendment of the Constitution of the United States of America.

    A politician will use all of the tricks of the political trade to ensure they acquire and retain power. District manipulation, disguised bribery, backroom deals and worst of all, removing the means from the people to react to tyrannical authority over the people. When the will of the people is no longer respected, the entrenched politician needs only to fear the people's means to forcibly remove them.

    Colorado has suffered some horrific tragedies in our recent history. None have been as tragic as the rogue politicians in office today, that have endangered the citizens of Colorado, with their well meaning legislation. They are using their people-granted power to infringe upon our right to defend ourselves and those we protect. They are also ensuring that as they continue down the path of stripping away our liberties, that we will eventually be powerless to stop them.

    Please join me, and the thousands of others in Colorado that are outraged by these recent abuses of power and recall the rogue politicians in office today. We may still have our guns today, but unless we vote, we will lose more than just our right to bear arms.

    Please read the original post on page 1, regarding the efforts by members of this forum to recall Colorado State Representatives that are out of touch with the people. I believe EvilRhino is spearheading this, I am just supporting the movement.

    I've provided all the info I can find. I never heard back from the Colorado GOP regarding helping with this.

    These recalls are limited to constituents in the districts of the rep, which makes sense. At my location in Douglas county, both of mine are R's so no need for recall here. My current recourse, aside from continuing the emails and attending the committee hearings, will be participating in any lawsuit after the fact.

    I've reached out to others, gun owners, people in the industry in afflicted districts and have been met with apathy and defeatism, including the idea of the lawsuit if they pass will fail.

    Between the 2 forums, James and Keith are doing a much better job of organizing efforts. I'm still willing to help anyone who needs it. My thinking is the first recall petitions should be active before the Senate votes.

    I am more than happy to help with getting John Morse recalled.
