Agree! But please tell me why you think we can't get enough signatures? 4000 needed right?

It was stated yesterday- Fields fears no threat of recall- her district is very democratic, and getting her ousted would be extremely difficult, if not impossible... Sad but true.

Fields won by a huge margin in 2012: 73.3% of the vote. 22,362 people voted in that election, which means we would need 5,591 signatures on the petition to recall her, and she has a strong D voter base that may just re-elect her.

We would need 9,658 signatures to recall Kagan, but he just barely won (50.8%) in 2012. Seems like an uphill battle, but not impossible.

If a petition with the required signatures is filed, the incumbent has 5 days to simply resign before having to go through the election process again. I say file them one at a time, starting with the easiest to recall, maybe Kagan, and go down the list. Some of them may just throw in the towel.

Democraphics would be nice to get a hold of- how many are NRA members, how many carry and have a CCW, etc. Bet there are enough who feel they are being rolled over. With todays technology it might be easier than you think (or not)..

I am done discussing- Action is needed! Meeting, meeting, meeting... We can do what ever we set our minds to and SUCCEED!

EDIT: Very good info in deed!! Thanks for that info..........

I know you expressed interest in meeting also. when your avialable give me a call would ya?

Good info. Might be worth going after Fields anyway just to make her life hard. I'm not sure, would she need to spend money to campaign again?

I would highly suggest targeting the legislators who are vulnerable, and not waste time on those who are in urban Democrat strongholds.
I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them.

Just sent them all a piece of my mind. I've always voted, but have never contacted any politicians before all this nonsense started in December.

They have a ONE Democrat majority. All we need is ONE decent Republican and can retract the bills, correct? They have a slim majority in either the house or senate.

She would have to spend money to campaign for the recall election, but if she wins re-election, she is reimbursed for the campaign expenses from the State Treasury.
