Default Can you make your own handgun receiver in Co.?

Is there any state restriction keeping anyone from making their own handgun?

No, except that possession by under 18 is subject to parental/guardian approval.

State law ...I'm not sure. But, there is a federal law saying that you need a Manufacturer's License.

No you are not.. If not Manufacturing for sale, or profit. merely for personal use. Now start cranking out guns off receiver flats, 80% AR lowers or other 80-90% or less material, yes you need the proper paperwork.

Is there a limit to how many you can manufacture per year? Keep in mind this regarding manufacturing for personal use not for sale. Only interested in state law.

Anything firearm is FEDERAL. Once again, like the word REGISTRATION, MANUFACTURING DOES NOT belong in this discussion. You are bending, or, machining something for PERSONAL USE not resale. If i make a cake am i opening up a bakery?
