Default Recognize those who will follow in our foot steps

We have our ups n downs in life, from being a kid to where ever we are in life now. Our children, nieces, nephews, grand kids AND children of our friends all learn from us and the world around them. How we teach them, instill our beliefs and what they do with this information as they grow up, hopefully makes them think and act responsibly.

SO.......... with that out of the way a few thanks and props to

HBarleathernecks ( Chris) and Bryjcom (Brydor) children

HB sponsored one of cmallairds Casualty Classes at his abode. I know his kids like to shoot with mom & dad, so i gave them a box of 22.
Week later a very nice Thank You card from their kids arrived. To say i am touched is an understatement. My wife enjoyed it as well.

Bryjcom's son comes down and helps do things around the shop i can't do and yard work for the wife.

A lot of you nominated a son, daughter or other kid for the 22 give away done here. It's nice to know there is hope for us and our country when we have kids like those our family has met over time.

    THANKS,

Well said Jim. There's always hope and I believe most of our members (including myself ) have raised good kids with moral and ethical standards that are becoming rare.

Thanks for looking out for my kids Jim. You've been there for my oldest when he was locked out and no grownups were around and ALL of my kids know that you are a SAFE house for them and they are to, with out hesitation, go to your house if there is trouble of any kind. Its good to have neighbors look out for you and your children. Glad to have someone willing to teach my oldest the value of hard work and the value of a $.

    Nobody's stopping you.....

Just be warned that if you do move here, Jim will have a "position" for you in the community. He will find out your strengths and weaknesses and assign a position appropriately...

You know, that's a great asset to have- a neighborhood community leader. What a genius idea.

I consider Jim to be "Red" from the Shawshank Redemption Movie.
