When my daughter was about 2 my big dog (128 pound shepherd mix) accidentally knocked her down the stairs; my daughter went all the way over and landed on a step, head down, before continuing to finish her fall. Luckily it was a short flight of stairs (tri-level house) and after the panicked trip to the hospital, she turned out to be OK too. But I still remember the whole slo-mo thing as I watched her go over backward and I couldn't move fast enough to catch her...
