Not a product placement, but I remember these. This show gave me nightmares when it was in its' first run.

Oh my god that is so awesome! My grandfather was a Nebraska Park Ranger, was all big into Western stuff, had a radio show. The guy who played/was the indian was my Grandfather's friend, I met him once during a Nebraska land day event when I was young. I remember my grandfather had a picture of him for the commercial signed "To George, a friend of the Indians." He also had a picture of the two of them in a frame on the wall. They use to go shooting and hunting together.

"The rifle itself has no moral stature, since it has no will of its own. Naturally, it may be used by evil men for evil purposes, but there are more good men than evil, and while the latter cannot be persuaded to the path of righteousness by propaganda, they can certainly be corrected by good men with rifles. --Jeff Cooper"

The crying Indian commercial was a powerful one in the early 70s. It seemed like that one and the "I'd like to buy the world a Coke" commercial were running CONSTANTLY
and of course, there was Mikey:
What, oldest TV commercial I can remember? Oh Lord......Timex watches on the boat motors with John Cameron Swayze, Fizzies, KoolAid, Ovaltine, Wonder Bread, PF Flyers, who knows. You're talking early 60's here.
