He said he hadn't made up his mind yet. He was reminded multiple times of his oath to defend the Constitution.

Did somebody make it out to Tochtrop?

That is an odd stance. Of all the bills I'd say the fees are the least bad bill and he chooses that one to vote no on? Why?

This bill is a POLL TAX. Do you have to pay to Vote? a right, right? We should not have to pay for our rights...

I don't support it either, what I'm saying is that fees for background checks is the least awful of the 4 bills being debated. Yet he supports the other and disagrees with that one?

I agree it is the least offensive, but offensive none the less..

I do not understand his rational or lack thereof.

I'm a pretty strict libertarian and he decided to stop by the house one day while campaigning and royally pissed me off trying to convince me of the need for his brand of government. We were not fans of each other when he finally walked away. Then one of his volunteers came around and I had to tell him to leave because I wasn't going to listen to anymore of his bull.

It was great to meet Two Shoes at the FoCo meeting. As mentioned, the vast majority there were opposed. They also took the opportunity to demonstrate their 2A right via open carry (made Senator K quite nervous). While the senator did a good job of listening, I'm not holding my breath and think he will ultimately support all 4 bills.
