Default Democrat Rep Emails in Copy/Paste format: ONE LAST PUSH

Alright guys, one last push before tomorrow's final vote at the house for HB 1224, 1226, 1227 and 1229. Email the House Democrats with your urge to vote no. We only need to sway 5.

I personally will be hammering on the restriction of selling/transferring/willing my PERSONAL PROPERTY (16+ round magazines). I think this is one of the best ways to get them to vote no on the bill.

    Here are all the Ds in the House's email: jeanne.labuda.house@state.co.us, mferrandino@yahoo.com, repkagan@gmail.com, dan.pabon.house@state.co.us, crisanta.duran.house@state.co.us, lois.court.house@state.co.us, angela.williams.house@state.co.us, beth.mccann.house@state.co.us, paul.rosenthal.house@state.co.us, dl.hullinghorst.house@state.co.us, jonathan.singer.house@state.co.us, mike.foote.house@state.co.us, claire.levy.house@state.co.us, thomas.exum.house@state.co.us, pete.lee.house@state.co.us, max@maxtyler.us, sue.schafer.house@state.co.us, diane.mitschbush.house@state.co.us, brittany.pettersen.house@state.co.us, reptracy29@gmail.com

Thank you and all of the others who have been making it much easier for me to send emails to legislators. I have written them a ton and I hope that everyone else has been too.

To my understanding the House has already passed it. It is done with the House, we need to start focusing on the Senate.

We need to find out what Senate committee will debate it first and get those member's contact information. Start calling them Monday.

Your "understanding" is wrong. The official vote in the House is tomorrow.

Emails sent to each. I'm not optimistic about the House vote on Monday, but people who don't speak up only have themselves to blame. Will start reaching out to folks in the Senate if things go bad tomorrow.

Really, guys - try to take the extra time to address each one individually and don't just send it out in bulk... A bit of extra effort now, more possibility of them actually listening, more possibility of actually swaying the handful we need to sway.

    My most recent email:

I have watched with dismay over the last several days while 4 utterly ineffective gun control proposals were introduced, ramrodded through committee, and passed on a voice vote on the floor of the House. While I'm sure that the sponsors mean well, these bills would not increase public safety. To the contrary, the net effect would be to make violent criminals safer in carrying out their crimes. I urge you to remember that you are there to represent those that put you in office, as well as uphold the oath that you took to uphold the Colorado Constitution. Please focus your efforts in more constructive ways, such as funding mental health programs and making it easier for law enforcement officials to effectively prosecute those that are already in violation of the existing law, such as prior felons in possession of weapons. The negative economic consequences of these bills cannot be understated, either. Not limited to the loss of up to 1000 jobs, but millions of dollars lost to due hunters, sportsmen, and others boycotting the state in solidarity against this assault on our rights.

As an independent voter, I vote for people, not parties. Rest assured, I, and many like me, will support those that protect our freedoms, and will do anything in our legal power to remove from office those that try to infringe upon them, including recall those that choose to vote in favor of these egregious and ineffective measures.

    Sincerely and respectfully,
