Girlscouts? Hmmm, I don't know... I think it's kinda dangerous to teach young girls self esteem and leadership skills.

That's one of my main reasons for joining this forum. I've watched my husband on here for quite awhile now, and have even proofread countless posts of his. I like this community far more than the people I encounter everyday. I even get a bit of a kick out of the few a-holes. At least we have a common denominator. My dad, on the other hand, ugh ... I feel like we're only a few years from a breakthrough! We just need to keep chipping away at him with common sense, he'll come around, I just know it! My mom is coming along nicely, however. I'm taking her with me to my ccw class this weekend. Getting her certified and at least a bit more educated.

Protecting anti gun neighbors reminds of the couple times I stupidly mentioned that I keep food, water, guns and ammo stocked just in case something happens. All I get are the "hey, we're coming to your place then." All I can think, and want to do is You don't want me having them in the first place, you want to deny me my rights, why should I protect yours?

When they come knocking, all you gotta say is "I'm sorry, I don't have a square to spare!" (Hehe, it reminded me too much of Elaine on Seinfeld)

I hope you are referring to me pretty lady. My mom has been on a few of our family hunts, she can shoot with my guidance and my dad's. Just hit a soft spot with the BS lately.

    Not sure I follow 'nads.......

I typically have no time to socialize and when I do have time I prefer to spend it with my wife, kids and inlaws.
    They are forever.
I have "aquantances" that I may see now and then casually but "Friends" are something that I left behind in high school.
