im having my barrel threaded for either a rem choke or win choke what would be a good choke to throw on there for skeet?

Ummm...how about a skeet choke? LOL OK jokes aside, I like rem chokes.

well the skeet choke obvbut it looks like a lot of companys are making there own chokes threaded for either rem or win
I prefer the Remington but probably has more to do with Remington being my preferred shotgun in an autoloader or pump. I've used an 870 and 1100 for skeet and never had an issue with either choke. Problem is usually me.
Briley thin wall chokes are another good option, particularly for shotguns whose outside/inside diameters that might make it difficult to install a conventional choke tube.
why?
why not just have it bored to skeet??
there's nothing wrong with a fixed choke. (gives you an excuse to buy more shotguns for one)

cofi, where did you get the work done and how much? I'm thinking about doing the same.
Personally, I prefer cylinder bore for skeet. As far as having your barrel threaded, I would opt for a Beretta/Benelli choke option myself.
It doesn't really matter that much. The are good chokes for every standard and once you buy a set it's not like they need replacing.
Asking which one is "best" doesn't really apply in this case.

The "k" is silent.
