Wonder if the will ban the Military Channel too, this makes no sense to me at all.

I indirectly work for them, that sucks. Though, I doubt they will drop the other channels, but then again with everything going on nothing surprises me anymore.

Glad I have DirecTV. I got tired of Comcast a while ago and dropped 'em. Good riddance.

I'll be cancelling them this month and letting them know the reason.

Not surprising do to the size of the corporation. I'm not agreeing with their decision, just seems to be the norm.

Comcast is and has always been the worst company ever.

Who are you going with? My chat with Comcast just now was less than satisfying.

    Analyst John has entered room
John: Hello Rucker, Thank you for contacting Comcast Live Chat Support. My name is John. Please give me one moment to review your information.
Rucker: My Issue: I'm experiencing an anti-2A, hypocritical service provider
John: I hope you are doing fine today. How may I help you?
Rucker: I've been told that Comcast will no longer accept advertising from firearm or firearm related companies. Can you confirm?
John: I know how important this is for you to know, Rucker. Rest assured, I will check my resources to have it confirmed.
John: Would you mind waiting for 2 minutes while I research some information in my system in order to better serve you?
    Rucker: Yes, I can wait
    John: Thanks.
John: While waiting, let me share with you one of our free services-- My Account (formerly known as Comcast CustomerCentral). You will not only be able to view and pay your bill online but you can also check Service Health Status for outages in all lines of services. Service Appointment Management is also available in My Account where you may reschedule or cancel appointments ( except installation appointment ). You can also view more information about your current products and services
John: Thank you for waiting. Consistent with long standing NBC policies, Comcast Spotlight has decided it will not accept new advertising for firearms or weapons moving forward. This policy aligns us with the guidelines in place at many media organizations.
Rucker: Are you going to cancel all of the television shows that display gun violence?
Rucker: Have you quantified the number of lost customers that this decision will lead to?
Rucker: Because you can bet I'm finding a different provider for my phone, internet and television.
Rucker: Is there a Comcast executive that's got the balls to accept emails from those US citizens who would like to comment on this decision?
John: Those types of movies have been and will continue to be reviewed on a case-by-case basis, which is the same policy in place at NBC. Like all media outlets, we reserve the right to determine the types of movies content we will accept.
John: Yes, you may send your feedback to: spotlight_comments@cable.comcast.com.
    Rucker: that's a mailbox. I'd like a name.
John: I apologize for the inconvenience but that is the only information I can provide with this matter.
    Rucker: As I assumed.

I don't have a clue. I barely use mine anyway, and my phone will suffice for Internet.
