Someone want to explain why Vermont, commonly known to have some of the least restrictive gun laws, has the lowest percentage (# per 100k) of violent crime. While DC, historically very tight gun laws appears to have double the rate of any other area?

Id love for that someone be a politician. Not going to hold my breath.
